Gowns and Stuff..

Do we HAVE to wear gowns and hoods at graduation, or will a nice suit do? Really think the 50 quid are already a rip-off.. another 37 for the gown and that silliness cost way more than flights to get there.

I imagine if you just wore one or the other, lacking the gown & hood wouldn't be cool, and lacking the suit might be too hot

But yes, they are worn. If it's just "silliness" to you, why bother graduating in person? There isn't much point otherwise.
