Sound Engineers

Basically, in order to get more live music in the Union next year, we'll need more properly trained sound engineers/ techies. (and not just my usual "Oh, I think I'll add more bass or treble to that.") I thought I'd ask on the music-minded boards if you knew anyone who can sound engineer, especially live sound. Can you ask them to contact me? br10@st-and.ac.uk or ask them how they learned so that I can copy them and then teach others.
I'm thinking about taking a summer course and maybe taking along one or two ents crew members. Can anyone recommend anything?

hey there,

I coming to andrews in a few weeks, coming from Northern Ireland and have asked ents crew about doing sound engineer for the union, or helping anyway. I do live events combined with recording for a band and also do stuff for the radio like desk driving. done training up to 24 channel self-op.

Looking forward to continuing this hobby/skill however you like to put it.
