Speaking Japanese

I am interested in practicing speaking Japanese. Does anyone know of a Japanese language group that already exists, or are there any readers of this list who would like to speak Japanese? Native Japanese who might tolerate foreigners trying to speak their language? I don't have a particular interest in anime, but I am a fan of Murakami novels.

Try Nippon Society. They organise Japanese classes taught by native speakers as well as events to do with Japanese Culture.
