I agree in principle - but I don't think it will be necesary. Rocksoc halloween is legendary because we know how to dress up and its one of the few chances to view a live band in the union.

There were live bands on in V1 on saturday (7th). If you weren't there then go grind yourself in a turbofan, ta. We do have live bands, but if no one turns up then there's no real incentive to keep bothering, is there? (Especially not at a working time return of 10:1 setup:event)

As far as I'm aware, anyone can be an associate member (whether they've ever been a student or not) and they get everything a member would get except voting at AGMs etc. Could be wrong, though.

Would you stop it. Last time you did this I believed the people who said you were just mis-understood and not a cunt at all.

If I only heard about the live bands TODAY, then you have just uncovered the problem with the union. How am I supposed to know to turn up to see said live band if I don't know about it - ADVERTISING.

P.S. I also said "few" not "only" and I am sure that even you couldn't argue that the quantity of live bands in comparision to other forms of entertainment allow for the use of the word few.

It gets me slightly...miffed. K rant over. Please don't anyone start another argument about DJs, we've had enough of that in recent weeks, but I just want to get that point across.

Desperate to hear a song====> bring the cd.

Oh yeah, and I will play as many of the requests as I can on the night. AFI - Halloween and some Lordi are definite.

To clear things up for Henry, Craig typed this before I told him that The Glass Prison was 14 minutes long. I'd love to hear it as well, but with the DJ's only get 45-60 minutes each at Halloween, there's no chance of that being played. Well, thats what Craig told me anyway...
