Good King Wenceslas or O Little Town of Bethlehem?

They're practically the same bloody song! Sameish chords anyway. But I get Good King stuck in my head easier, must be something to do with the homoerotic undertones.

"Bring me flesh, and bring me wine,
Bring me pine logs hither:
Thou and I will see him dine,
When we bear them thither."
Page and monarch, forth they went,
Forth they went together;
Thro' the rude wind's wild lament
And the bitter weather.

Christmas pud - yummy or yucky?

Both! With choclate sauce and sprinkles! (can you rell my blood sugar's low at the moment? :-)

If you're gonna be a stickler for the rules and make me pick just one, then ice-cream.

And staying on the xmas theme - Leftover turkey sandwiches or leftover turkey curry?

Sandwiches, with cranberry sauce and cocktail sausages. God I'm going to put on weight over Christmas.

Christmas Movies:

Gremlins or Scrooged?

Gremlins or Scrooged?

Ooh, tough one, but I'd have to go with Scrooged, since I have gremlins on video but I can't imagine watching Scrooged at any other time of year.

Christmas day:
Board games and family fun
or
TV and avoiding talking to your bloody relatives

You missed out pub! :-)

Family fun wins though - in part cos the TV's so utterly shite at christmas and partly cos my family's actually a decent crowd.

Santa - real or not?

Ignore the cheesy contrived festivities, this is what the year has really been like, for some of us anyway.

And more to the point, it's NOT The Darkness!!! Wooohoo!!!

Satan, real or not? :-)

Some of us have had better things to do than check a computer messageboard, things like eating drinking and being merry!
Anyway, cartoons because that way we are more likely to see those we loved as children unlike the whiney crap that's on MTV these days!

Thundercats or He-Man?

Dangermouse!!!

Hello Kitty or Lenore?
Imp

Re:

Postby Mark on Tue Dec 30, 2003 2:19 pm

No decision to be made. It's clearly Lenore, as Hello Kitty and all those associated with it will be first against the wall when the revolution comes. Ugh.

And yes, I am so bored I'm posting on this thread.

More importantly, and again on a related note...

JTHM or Squee?
Mark

Re:

I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, so Squee,

And why is no-one posting now that the Sinner is back up after its New Year break?

Are you all a) apathetic or b) dead?
Simon

Given the amount of food and alcohol usually consumed over the festive period I would reckon we're probably all dead. I know I am. Hmmmmmm.

But, on a totally seperate note:

original material
or
cover versions

living in a world that protects fools
