Beach Parties and Other Tales...

So, is anyone going to have an after party for the next rocksoc (25th May)??

And hell, while I'm here I might as well tell you a bit about what's happening....

Starts at 4pm on West Sands with a barbeque on the beach!! Burgers, sausages and stuff will be there, provided by your generous committee, but don't hesitate to bring anything else you desire...within reason ;)

Then to rocksoc at 8pm, where the beach theme will continue!! And of course, since it's beach themed, you shall all be wearing beach clothes/accessories! *hint hint* Some ideas? How about one of those blow up rubber hoop things? Or a completely ridiculous Hawiian shirt (Badger, you have no excuse, I know Craig has tonnes of those things hidden away!) Anyway, there will be a prize for the best dressed beach babe/dude, a very good incentive to dress up. Beach themed cocktails and other surprises shall be available on the night!!

And then some kind person is going to invite us back to party at their house. Aren't they? Please??

Edit: If the weather is crap on Wednesday, we'll meet in the union at 4pm, not West Sands, for other surprises...

Am just wondering...what exact time does the barbeque start because doesn't it say 5pm on the poster but 4pm on here and the livejournal...so which time is it actually as I would hate to turn up like a whole hour early...although I suppose aiming for 4 gives me an hour to get lost looking for it....

*stares at everyone else in the thread*

There will be a paddling pool but we haven't decided what to fill it with that won't either make a mess or cause damage by people throwing it at each other - sweets is a goodone, didn't think of that!

The beach party starts at 4pm in theory but I believe there'll be people hanging out on the beach from middayish so turn up whenever you like!

Yeah there are posters, they arrived in Hall on I think Saturday or Sunday...got a really cute picture of a fish or something on it...

I live in a Hall of residence so I always see the posters...

And I own no beach wear so I'm wearing my skull mini skirt again...I love that skirt...yay!
