Be honest with me here...
Is there any chance of getting hold of a dance ticket for the ball? A friend just decided to come up for the weekend and I would hate to have to abandon them to rock.
I realise it's a bit of a slim chance but thought I'd ask.

Sorry, they sold out a few weeks ago. Unless there have been any returns I don't think you'll be able to get another ticket now.

I'm selling my dinner ticket. Can't make it due to other engagements (Dancing, Bleh)! I'll sell it to you so I break even what I paid in the first place., but i'm keeping my t-shirt.
How much were they initially again?
