I would however like to make one suggestion - we should start having DJ meetings - perhaps before/after rocksoc committee meetings - this way silly situations like this will not arise.

This is pathetic! On the other hand, it's typical! If there's one thing I've always hated about this society, it's the way certain people stake their over-inflated egos into it. Thanks to egos, no one's allowed to criticize truly terrible music sets for fear that the DJ'll have a hissy-fit. Thanks to egos the committee apparently can't make routine decisions without the Ents rep quitting!

Well I've had enough of it. Jez; I see where you're coming from about Grant taking a set for himself, but if the Ents rep can't make decisions about the nights' music, then what's the point in having the position? Grant, is that how we solve all our problems; by quitting when the going gets tough?

You guys could have resolved this by calming down, stepping back and talking it like adults. Instead; nothing has been solved, We're one Ents rep down, and we're going to have to waste valuable music time on ANOTHER general meeting!

So well done everyone. Another flawless victory against good sense.

DJ's have no executive authority in Rocksoc. Nor do members, except for the right of election and formal attendance to committe meetings to complain/praise (as if it's ever happened...) in person.
