I know there is limited time til the end of Rocksociness, but

Alien Sex Fiend - anything (zombified=quality)

New Model Army - Bittersweet

Yet above all else, some Richard Cheese would make me a happy little bunny. Especially Rape Me or Holiday in Cambodia.

wtf is richard cheese?

anyway, i hope i wouldn't be alone in thinking some White/Rob Zombie would be great to hear at rocksoc sometime? people always want something to dance to and i reckon the likes of More Human Than Human or Dragula would work pretty well.

I think the request lists on tables worked reasonably well, we'll do that again in future. Here's the songs that were requested:
It's raining men
(yeah. funny.)
epic
poison
eddie's teddy - RHPS
Personal Jesus - Depeche Mode
Hurt - NIN
Too Drunk to Fuck - Dead Kennedys
that was me last night
Too Stoned to Dance - Terrorvision
thats me too!
YOU! (Shook me all night long)
Time warp
Head like a Hole - NIN
Black Dog - Led Zepplin
Discovery Channel - Bloodhound Gang
Cheeky Song - Cheeky Girls
(also highly amusing)
War Ensemble - Slayer
Planet Caravan or Fairies Wear Boots - Black Sabbath
Break on Thru (to the other side) - The Doors
Chemical Wedding - Bruce Dickinson
War Pigs - Black Sabbath
Ace of Spades - Mötorhead
Sonne - Rammstein
Spiders - SOAD
Today - Smashing Pumpkins
Breathe - Pantera
Until it Sleeps- Metallica
Simple Art of Making Enemies - Faith No More
Closer - NIN
Wuthering Heights - Kate Bush
I think that would go down quite well

Snog Requests:
Craig for Graham

Remember to post on this thread if there's a song you've been gagging for - the DJs do check it. We can't guarantee we'll play every request but we'll try.

I played most of the requests I had with me, and would have played more if I'd had them with me. Sorry...didn't know about the requests thing until I got there, otherwise I'd have brought more CDs, as quite a few of the other tracks which didn't get played would have gone down quite well. Still, looking at that list, I don't think anyone could realistically complain that not enough of those songs were played. Good idea lads (and lasses).

Ok, I'm going to be brave and request a few bands I don't see requested yet...

First one is Within Temptation (apparently they are supposed to be like Nightwish but I've not heard any Nightwish songs so I can't tell)

Within Temptation ~ The Promise, Never Ending Story, Mother Earth and/or Deceiver of Fools.

And next, The Rasmus...please...oh please...Guilty is the only song name I can remember off Dead Letters but I have an early album and it has a wonderful song called 'Frog' on it but if you play that I might get hyper.

My choices would be:

D.R.I. - Mad Man
Crytic Slaughter - M.A.D.
The Accused - Sick Boy
Prong - Senseless Abuse
Corrosion of Conformity - Consumed

Music for both punks and metalheads!

Combichrist - This S*it Will Fuck You Up
Bauhaus - Bela Lugosi's Dead
The Cure - A Forest
