Hey all. Have recently graduated to my own computer and now have Wolf as well as CS 1.5 and MOH AA/Spearhead. Am well up for playing some games, esp as my exams are now over. Being a muppet I may need some help on setting up a game with all the desired features, and more importantly seem unable to connect to an alternative IP than the network. Little help if you please?
Cheers

hey, i'll be more than happy to help. although your post doesn't make much sense to me (maybe i'm tired and pissed off with revision! :S)
we haven't played any MOHAA as yet, but i'd be up for that, i played it to death last year!

and more importantly seem unable to connect to an alternative IP than the network.

eh?

anyway, i'm sure we can sort you out, if you want to play add me to your msn (if you don't use it then post here)

1) What I meant was that I cannot figure how to find games on the network. A friend and I tried it in our hall with me setting up a game but he couldn't find it. Maybe am just thick.
2) Don't have a passport thingy for MSN. Will just read posts here unless gets too annoying.
Cheers tho.

not thick at all, it's how it should work!! but it doesn't... IT services changed the settings so it doesn't work... if you are in hall it's simple: find the IP address of the computer you are running the server on, and on the other computer(s) there is a button (in the join game screen) with connect to IP or specify server. put the IP address of the host computer in that box.

your IP address will be 138.251.xxx.xxx and you will find it in your network settings.

hope this helps.

Yes, what you are doing wrong is trying to use bbcode. The sinner doesn't use them!

The codes the sinner does use can be found here:

(There is a link to it on the posting page.)
