Great Wolf Moments

Self-explanatory, just recount your best/ favourite Enemy Territory moments.


Here's mine:

Playing on the level with the axis moving train to fire the big gun. I was playing allies and we were defending the depot yard. The axis team launched a wave of attacks down the hill-paths to steal the train from behind us and we were all fighting them back (me being very heroic on the machine-gun). When all of a sudden a teammate shouts out "where's the train?" and we all turn around and the bloody things been stolen without anyone seeing! By the time we caught up it was at the gun.

Marvelous teamplay shown there by axis, (made us look stupid) and possibly the best moment I had experienced in a game in a long while.

I think elron actually wet himself laughing at that one.

At the gaming event when steve stood up and threatened to knife someone in the face for spawn camping him, and the look on the 2 new guys faces that were sat opposite possible to of the most offenive players ever.

The whole of the gaming even was brilliant and i loved ever second of it. Steveo is right i almost did die of laughter at his comment to senethro, was so brilliantly said.

But i would have to say that my best moment in wolf was in goldrush when i was a panzer on allies and all the axis had died and we had just got the gold and stolen the truck. I was standing on the bridge with a panzer aimed at where the axis come out their spawn. All the axis spawned and all came running out the spawn together straight towards the truck, and i waited till the second they lost their spawn invulnerability and fired my panzer and....

There was 5 of them on axis and i got every single one of them. Now i know its easy to fire a panzer and doest require skill. Im not saying this was skillfull, but i was almost crying with laughter after i got EVERYONE on there team in one go

Thats the most annoying thing on that level (Elron). It would be fine if he was limited to say knife only, but even then he would be annoyingly good with it. However, I never mind it when I play allies there...

Sometimes elron = git.

I maintain that there were 6 on the axis team, and that only I went out the back door.

Mind you, the second panzer got me anyway.

The best wolf moment was this.

We are on a losing team, 3v4, on fuel depot. I am pissing around as covops.

Anyway. We finally get the tank to blow the side door. There are only 15 mins on the clock so I am not really thinking about the objective at this point.

To that end I decide to go for a little wander. Through the side hole and into the axis spawn. Up the stairs to meet elron lying down field opsing the tank. I shot him twice in the head the killed him to death with my knife. I then ran behind the axis command post room, down onto the frozen river. I waited there for about 2 mins waiting for what appeared to be a break in the field opsing. When I guessed i'd be ok I made a ran for the side hole again. Just made it before the arti came back.

I sneaked through the corridors fully expecting a lead filled welcoming party. Thankfully all was well. I head for the top of the sniping hill to have a look at the axis base. Low and behold, here is elron laying many, many, many, many mines (yes the limit was set at 20 for some reason) So I sat on the top of the hill for what seemed like about 10 mins before even telling my team I had a uni. I used my time to spot all visible mines at the base. Finally, when elron left I contacted my team asking an eng to come through. We got to the depot. i opened the door only to be confronted by millions of mines (lvl 4 batty sense ) I spotted them all for the eng who couldn't see them. They were imposiible to jump. Too close together so the eng started defusing just enough to get passed. We then proceded to the fuel dump to lay the dyno. It went off without us seeing one axis anywhere 3v4 win on fuel dump. Impressive.

The 3 or 4 times I have single handedly won Railgun by sneaking the train out of the depotyard.

Or just generally being so abusive that people get offended enough to leave.

Yes foo - that was me as the Engineer - that was sooooo funny - needless to say Elron wasn't best pleased that we managed that! But ohhhh how we laughed! ;-D

Winning Battery single handedly (maybe with one revive by the ramp) in 1:30 in 6v6. Twice. You can't beat that. Rebounding a rifle grenade off two walls into someone's face.

Me = McGowan in Wolf

It was a year or two ago, first map of the first game I played with you guys. It was Fuel Dump, I went Axis soldier with a mobile MG. I set up on that hill ourside the first Axis spawn, aimed at the bridge, and held the bridge and kept engi's away from the tank for a solid 20mins.

Nickel told me it was only because at that point in time, no one ever used mobile mg's and no one could figure out what the freak was happening.

I've never been able to repeat anything even remotely like it.

Laying dynamite at the fuel dump with 31 seconds on the clock. It blew up. Brilliant because the axis were giving us so much stick for 'losing' the map from about 10mins into it. Tears must have been shed.....

grr.. that is prolly the singly most annoying thing when you're an engi, for example goldrush, with the barriers, ou can start building one, run out of you engi bar before its built then someone comes along and finishes it and gets the XP!
