For those of you who don't know, Wired Soc has now set up its own fully functioning IRC server. This can be found at...

Server: wired.st-and.ac.uk
Port: 6667

For those of you using mIRC, you can connect by typing /server -m wired.st-and.ac.uk and also note that this will NOT disconnect you from your current server, it will open up the server in a new window.

To donload mIRC, please go to: http://www.mirc.com and to the downloads page there.

Wired Soc will also shortly have an IRC Applet set up, similar to the sinner one, that will join the Wired Soc server.

Why shouldn't we set up our own IRC server Steveo?

I see no reason not to, and since we are a University Society and have our own IRC server now, i think its only fitting to invite the sinner people.

We have to support each others societies don't we

So come along folks and take a look.
