Natural Selection Server

Postby TheGamesMaster on Sat Nov 16, 2002 1:45 am

I'm going to setup a small (4-8 people) Natural Selection server on sat (16 nov) at around 2pm.
If you want to play add your voice to this thread so I can get an idea of numbers.

There's also a poll in the "No NS server - Q3 instead" ( http://www.thesinner.co.uk/messageboard ... hread=1982 ) for which Half-Life mods people would like to play.

I'll try my best to be available (and have NS installed) by then.

You would say that. you won.

But that game kicks ass! *Gibbers quietly in corner*

Being a cloaked giant 3-ton Rhino-Elephant-Alien-Thing is as much fun as it looks. Believe me :)

However, having a giant, spiked alien-elephant-rhino thing appear out of no where 3 feet from you when you only have 3 bullets left in your gun and have to resort to a bowie knife isn't fun at all. Bad things. Evil people.

Do the slideshow tutorial and read the manual. Although the best way to learn is to play it. I'll prob setup a server later in the week again, maybe wednesday night.

Are people still up for this tonight? I'm in if there's a server going up.

I will be putting a server up at around 9pm tonight. If i remember i'll set the maxplayers to 16 (though i don't think we will get anywhere near that many). I'll put server details up closer to the time.
