Help!!!! I'm desperate

Please help me! I have a Mac 9.1 that I bought second hand. I'm trying to configurate it (is that how you call it? Sorry in case you hadn't noticed I'm absolutely clueless when it comes to computers) in order to make the internet work. How do I do that? Thanks!

How do you connect to the Internet? Do you have broadband with a router? Is it wired or wireless?

Mac OS 9.x come with a wizard you can use to connect to the Internet. If you have a wired ethernet connection, then it will probably be able to set it up automatically. If not, it may take more tweaking. Post back and I'll see if I can help.

THANKS FOR REPLYING!!!! :)

That's the problem- I have absolutely no clue what it has or doesn't have. cause I bought it on ebay and didn't really care at the time... I have no clue what a wizard could be when referring to a computer.
And no, it doesn't connect automatically- I've tried.
The internet that I'm trying to connect to is wired.

Is there some sort of "Internet Setup Wizard" or "Internet Setup Assistant" on the hard drive of the computer? There should be a folder called "Internet Applications" or similar, perhaps inside a generic Applications folder on the hard disk (it's been a little while since I've used OS 9.x myself). See if you can find this and if you get anywhere with it. :)
