I've not pre-ordered, but apparently the main Game store in Dundee city centre has 250 pre-orders and a total shipment of 400 copies, not including the other branch of Game and Gamestation as well as HMV, Virgin, Argos and Tesco (which didn't have it the other day when I was in).

I hope I'm not screwed

I've heard that places are doing midnight releases, a few of my friends are going to go and grab it at midnight. Not sure where from though.

I just picked up a copy with a strategy guide for £9.99 extra no bother at all. GAME in Dundee tried to flog me all kinds of Halo related merchandise like a faceplate for £24.99(!) and t-shirts, which I kinda regret not taking a closer look at. I'll probably go back tomorrow and grab something seeing as I managed to turn into a Halo fanboy over the summer somehow.

Pity I don't really have time to play it until this evening

I played through the SP and it was really good, but the real fun is to be had on the MP.

I'm waiting on my copy to arrive from play-asia, it has chinese voices! should be a laugh (english subtitles, and it's only £25)

Got this at a midnight release from ASDA in Dundee and played until 5am! I love the Halo series, truly landmark games in FPS but Halo 2 had me much more excited. Halo 3 is basically Halo 2 with a few frills. Campaign was very short too, but you can't knock the multiplayer. If anyone wants to play online gimme a shout!
