Google Toolbar

Postby Steveo on Tue Apr 20, 2004 8:36 am

For some reason my toolbar as gone missing.

I have made sure that IE allows 3rd party stuff and that it is checked to appear in the toolbars menu.

Tried reinstalling twice. No luck.

Any suggestions. Could be coincidence that this happened after recent virus problems, and I installed Norton 2004 Pro.

rather basic but try to right click on the main toolbar (the one with 'back','refresh' etc) and on the popup menu make sure that there is a tick beside 'google'

Another longshot...it might be hidden away at the side somewhere, so you can only see part of the toolbar. You could rightclick on the toolbar and deselect lock the toolbars. Then start moving things around to see if you can find it.

Like i said, a longshot, but still worth a try.

No - its not blocking the popups like it used to. Its a mystery alright.

I like IE - its just an extension of teh OS now.

Use Mozilla Firefox and give IE the finger. Firefox is the best browser out there. Has your google toolbar in there already and lots of other great features:
