Party restrictions

Ok, I kinda understand the applying for a party and being repsonsible for the actions of those attending yout party...but what I really don't get is the 20 people thing and 12 midnight limit...even at weekends?! what?!

I'm not a party whore, but this is just strange.

Jim sent out an email- apparently the number of people restriction has been repealed. But still!

Given that we have no hall common room yet and it's so far out of town I think it's unfair of them to give these restrictions. Partys here are the only way I've gotten to meet people outside my flat in DRA. I know they're not stopping people from having them but it's going to put a lot of people off. If we lived in private accommodation in town we wouldn't have them and as far as I'm aware they don't have them in Albany park either (though correct me if I'm wrong).
