Lent is approaching...

And although we aren't all religious, it's still a good time to give something up - chocolate, booze, desserts, or in my case, game shows...

So why not give something close to you up (not family members and suchlike, obv), and get sponsored for it? If you're giving something up you may as well raise money for charity at the same time.

I know of a few people who are giving up stuff (Simon and shaving, Riho and swearing, Adam and chocolate etc), so if you guys want to be sponsored for it, let me know and the hall committee can sort out some sponsor sheets or some such. The money we raise will count towards our final charities total. And remember, the more we raise, the more chance there is we get free booze at the Garden Party!

So give something up! Or just sponser someone for giving something up!

Considering I brought this up ages ago, of course...swearing and rudeness etc. I think it'll be good to be sponsored and have a swear box type thing, every time I slip up I pay a certain amount, any ideas how much?
