Gaaaaaaaah. I thought we had covered the fact that was I to EVER see that again, legal action would be taken. I get no money for this. My scientific discoveries were taken completely out of context.

Now what you folks seem to have missed is 2003's 'alternative' McIntosh Newsletter, 'Shit Chattan' ...

Sadly, the second edition of the aformentioned underground rag (ew! an 'underground rag') never made the shelves as certain members of the editorial 'bored of ten' thought the revelations to be too 'revealy'. Only one edition ever entered the public domain.

Here's a reminder of what you've been missing out on - an article written for the first addition by a certain former senior student...

Cutting-edge quantum physicist, Dr Cat Bailie, today made a startling claim that may change the way we look at Hall forever: A-floor may not exist in conventional reality. "Basically," says Dr Bailie, "I have found evidence to suggest that A-floor does not exist unless a person from B-floor is present, and thus the very existence of the floor comes into question upon their departure.
Distinct A-floor events are rumoured to have occurred in the past but this has never been proven, leading Dr Bailie to label them 'non-events'. In addition, the groud of A-floor is known to slope at peculiar non-Eucleidian angles, and the rooms are frequently noticed to be smaller that their outside appearance. Dr Bailie grimly speculates that this may have been a factor in the decision to place males on A-floor in the year coming.

erm.. bothered?
let's have some proper gossip people!!!

like...
a certain person in hall admitted he would/could be attracted to a person who has been showing interest in them if that person was to be the opposite sex to what they are now... shame...

of course, the path of true love never runs smoothly.

and it does of course mean a bit more than the standard "i'd change for you. really i would."

I have a sneaking suspicion that there will be a lot more gossip this time enxt week.

The much famed "tall dark scary one" of previous years is coming to visit. Fortunately for all the petrified 1st years they are staying with me in the badlands.

I'm sure they will make an appearance, sweeping their long black coat of death in a suitably ominous fashion... just for effect y'know?

I have an academic grandmother?? Ooo... lol Quite interesting trying to figure out who I'm related too....probably can stop trying though, seem to be related to everyone...

Have no intention of getting foamed or getting an academic father even though its my last chance this year.

common room tidied?

was it a really bad mess? i didn't see it yesterday, and went to bed really early as had a really bad headache, only to have a worse one when little headache woke me up at 4am...

regarding the state of the common room, it's an issue for the domestic convenor - which ISN'T me this year, but sheelagh.
