You know, it just isn't possible for an old hall like McIntosh to even begin to compete with the "better looked after halls" such as New Hall, Sallies and Uni Hall. We don't even have double glazing, which means we are bleeding heat from every window. And that's probably just the start. Frankly this competition is biased towards more modern halls, and as we are doing better than at least 3 of them now the university should recognise the efforts we have put in and reward us in, what is frankly, a ludicrously biased competition designed to show that the newer halls are the way forward. Have at you accomodation services, New Hall sucks

But halls are competing with each other on how they improve compared to last year, aren't they? In this case, each hall an equal chance to improve.
