Yay for the Garden party!

A most excellent success I thought, food was yum, booze was interesting (please could someone tell me what was in that punch! It seemed to change throughout the party) Patriot Act was (of course) fantastic! And basically a entertaining and enjoyable time :) Thanx peeps!

Hey everyone. I'd just like to say (on behalf of the Patriot Act) thanks to everybody for appreciating our music and for everyone saying how much they'd enjoyed our set.
It makes it worthwhile for us when we get nice comments like that!!!
I think everyone seemed to have a good time, and thanks to everyone who was involved with the set-up (esp Beth and Sharpy)!!
We wont be in hall next year im afraid, so if you see any Patriot Act posters up, please come and support us!!! If anyone is interested the website is:

www.patriotact.co.uk
Its a bit underdeveloped at the mo, but worth a look.
And if anyone wants put on our mailing list for news about future gigs etc, either ask me or ferg or email to the_patriot_act@hotmail.com.

Thanks again everyone for your support!!

Just to say a big thank you to everyone who helped me out with the set up yesterday.

The weather changing made it a bit hectic but i think it went well.

A big thanks to 'Patriot Act' and David who cooked for everyone pretty much single-handedly! I have alcohol for you guys!!!

P.S. Sorry if your room is a bit smoky Rhona/Sophie, you guys were lifesavers! I'll see if i can rustle up some of the leftover booze for you guys!

Yeah cheers to all the organisers and people involved. Oh and Patriot act thanks for not playing a 20+ minute blues jam like you did in the common room one night. Five minutes is good though :p ;)

I'd love to say i had a good time but having to leave early stone cold sober because i was feeling rather ill spoiled it just a tad.

John and John you guys should be ashamed for getting Miller! I thought you guys had high taste in beer, simple tennents or artois would have been far better. Hell if Griffin was paying for it with a card why didnt you get some top quality stuff? lol

What's this I hear, slating of the Miller? Should have got Tesco Value Bitter, or something equally rancid. Gallons of the stuff to boot. See how you bloody like it then.

lazin on a sunny afternoon

Damned good garden party.

Mr Sharp's barbecuing prowess (despite having to use disposables), the miraculous appearance of the sun and the presence of this year's incarnation of Fergus' band made it easily the equal of any previous year.

Although I too was surprised that there was so much Miller, and that people were drinking it.
