This happens every year. In 1005 last year the lecturer actually made an announcement to the effect that if you were ill you had to stay the hell away from the lectures so that the few that weren't could actually hear some of the lecture. Apparently he'd had emails complaining about it.

Yes! It's unbelieveable! Mind you, the Buchanan Theatre's not exactly the most pleasant environment to spend time in. What harm could there be in opening a window to let some air in?

...Some of the students might change their minds about the whole IR thing and attempt to jump out them...

There's also the fact that there aren't actually any windows in the room.

And think about it Julia, who do you know whose name starts with 'Ja' who does a sport ending in 'ayaking'? I sat next to you in IR today! Yea, I know sad username, had to think of something...

The Pneumonic Plague & IR1005

Postby tylermatts on Tue Nov 23, 2004 3:51 am

Well I've done my part to prevent the spread of infection through the IR lectures by sticking to a strict quota of one lecture per week (usually). I'm hoping this is the normal rate of attendance for everyone else as well.
