Absentee Voting

I won't be in the country on Friday, so is there a way to vote other than in person?

**Proxy Voting**

Postby classydriver on Wed Mar 12, 2008 4:38 pm

If for some reason you will not be in St Andrews on Friday (e.g. year abroad,
field trip, etc) you can arrange a proxy vote. You can do this in either of the
following two ways

1) If you are in St Andrews you can pop by the elections office on the middle
floor of the Students' Association and sort it out. You must bring the person
who will hold your proxy with you, or

2) If you are not in St Andrews, you should e-mail saelect@st-andrews.ac.uk with
the following information

-Your full name
-Matriculation Number
-Which Faculty you belong to and whether you are a postgraduate or an
undergraduate.
-The name of the student you want to hold your vote
-An e-mail address for this student

We can't do anything without this information

Best wishes,

Once we've sent off that email, what's the next step? When do we get to vote ;) ?

EDIT: Also, could someone please post a complete list of everything we can vote for on Friday, like a sample ballot? I can get listings of the candidates from elsewhere, but what about the green electricity referendum, and are there others?

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once.
