Drums Anywhere???

I have quite a small problem: I love to play drums, and well its not most practicle thing when it comes to transportation. I was thinking about getting myself a small Yamaha Hip Gig, but I don't think I have the money for that. Does the university have a drumset that can be used for practice?
Or must I join the jazz band or something like that?
I know it might seem like a silly question, but when you come from Peru everything seems completely alien to you!

I think that DRA is going to have a drum kit in the new music room, at least this was being discussed not sure if its for definite. So if your in DRA you may have easy access to a kit.

Theres 2 drum kits in the music centre which you have to join to practice on them. Once you've done that good luck trying to get a slot to practice in...

Some of the halls have music rooms with drumkits in - it depends where your staying -i know New Hall does. But as Shabba pointed out, the music centre has two. You can book a room in advance but they're not usually too booked up. If you join at the start of the year, you dont have to pay to use them. There are also lots of bands and ensembles to join as well if you want to play with other people.
