New Hall Twin Rooms

Postby Foz on Thu Jun 16, 2005 9:18 pm

hi, i recieved my letter regarding halls the other day and found out i have been allocated a twin room in New Hall, i am assuming this means i am sharing. Does anyone have any experience with these rooms or have even been in them as i cant seem to find anythin online about them. How much bigger are they than the single rooms, and also other than beds are there 2 of other things on the room like desks or chairs etc? Cheers

P.S I'm going to be studying economics if anyones interested...

Yeh I was in a shared New Hall room in 1st year. The rooms are double the size, there's 2 of everything, double beds still as well. You have to share the cudboard, but it's pretty big. Just be thankfull you're going into New Hall in a shared room this year and not four years ago. My flatmate was there then and he had to share a single room. They just replaced the double bed with a bunk bed. When you get to New Hall and see a single room, you'll realise how horrendous that would be!
I quite enjoyed sharing though, the guy I shared with was a good bloke and we got on really well, still do. I guess in that respect it's just luck of the draw as to whether you get on with your room mate. Takes a bit of getting used to at first, but it's all good.
