I am just someone born here, who has lived here all his life and can trace their roots back no further than hundereds of years of being Scottish... We in the Scottish National Party are all for gender equality. In addition, I happen to care where the line is drawn on the map. Why don't you ask the good people of Berick upon Tweed what they consider themselves to be? It means a great deal to them where the line in the sand was finally drawn!! I think a referendum would be appropriate once Scotland reaffirms it's nationhood again.

To quote the great Winnie Ewing "Stop the world, Scotland wants to get on".

hahaha you are having a laugh mate. The Scottish parliament merely magnifies the fuckwittery. It has a long way to go before it is powerful enough to offset the London-centric behaviour of Whitehall.

But you are right, independence is a stupid idea. England subsidise us heavily and long may it continue.
