'The Little Boy That Santa Claus Forgot' by Nat King Cole all the way, baby! It rocks!

I'm a sucker for the chorus that goes: "i'm so sorry for that laddy / he hasn't got a daddy / the little boy that santa clause forgot"

The song is wonderfully cosy (i.e. chestnuts roasting and all that jazz), and yet so deliciously, heartwrenchingly bittersweet. Muahahaha! A cut above the rest of this sickeningly sweet crud.

Gotta cater for the masses (personally I despise that song more than anything else, next to the fucking awful synthesiser(SP?)orgy that is Paul McCartney's Song), that's democracy for you

Apologies for forgetting the pogues (don't know why I did that, they're one of my favourite bands) but I think it's a bit extreme to have me executed

Would that mean all other Christmas songs would have to be banned from the Union also, because they discriminate unfairly those 'minority groups' who do not celebrate Christmas?

Cause Christmas songs are average at best, and Pet Shop Boys did a fantastic job with their cover (esp. the video, it's so sad :'( ).

I think in the next update I will include the extra text:
"from the selection below", so as to avoid future threads like this.

I might also include spell check software to prevent ommissions of Hs in Christmas.
If only there were a function to prevent people being idiots... (referring to many other threads).

And I can't reveal any information about who voted for Cliff. I could simply ban them from the site though...

As far as that goes, has anyone else heard the PC version? They changed it to 'you're cheap and you're haggard.'
I had thought about doing a poll like this myself but Manic23 beat me to it. Fairytale of New York is my personal favourite and would have definitely been included - have to agree with Greebo about the Millennium Prayer though.
