You are right for once--the Church is 'the Bride of Christ'--but in no way are the priests married to her.

The clergy *are* the church, and hence 'married' to Christ in a sense. That is why in the Catholic sacraments of Matromony and Holy Orders are mutualy exclusive.

I'm going to regret this, but by what you're saying Paul, I must assume that you don't eat pork or shellfish, that you wear a beard, eschew polycotton and would burn down both your house and that of your neighbours in the event of mildew? I assume, also, that you would be ok with selling your children into slavery, stoning people to death, and, frankly, a host of other things I am absolutely cerain you do not and would not do. Have you not, therefore, subtracted something from the Law?

It has copies of photographs of the complete Qumran Isaiah Scroll.

I was particulaly interested to find that the scroll does not have the scribal error that is in the Masoretic Text in Isaiah 9:7 - namely, the mem sofeet as the second letter of "lemarbeh".

Do you know what the Zohar says about this: "The closed mem refers to the fact that the Messiah would be born from a ‘closed womb’" - that is from a virgin.
