Webcam

I'm wanting to set up a 24hour webcam on my website, and was just wondering if anyone knew if there would be any likely problems trying to set this up, being on resnet and all that jazz....

I did it, seems to work fine, but I could never get it to show outside the network. But I guess it also is 'provision of a service', something ITS seem to dislike.

I managed to get one working outside of resnet. But only works if you use a webcam server that uploads an image every few seconds to a ftp server. The one that Compsci uses for that fish tank does this, but I have forgotten what it is called. Perhaps someone who does comsci will be able to help.

I cant remember which one I used - I tried coolcam, but I cant remember if thats what i ended up using. I did find one that actually claimed to steam it constantly, but again, I can't remember its name!
