Does the National Front still exist? I had the impression that they'd pretty much fragmented, with the hardliners going to the BNP and the moderates joining the right wing of the Conservatives, and possibly UKIP later on.

What i'd like to know is how people can be so intolerant and bigoted without decent argument as to why they feel that way. I find it unacceptable anyway, but you know when a good argument is presented i will respect an opinion.

Interestingly, in addition to standing with everyone and his dog in Sedgefield, they're contesting a couple that the BNP have candidates in - good to see the loony fringe of the loony right has a loony fringe of its own. That's the best thing about allowing all these parties - it stops one big party championing these nuts.



* Although, if they had four members last year and six members this year then 50% would almost certainly make that assertion true.
