It would have to be Led Zeppelin - Kashmir

Besides the fact that it's an awesome song, it's also really long!

Well, if iTunes is to be believed, my post played song is Boulevard of Broken Dreams - Green Day, so I suppose it would be that. And yet, that's almost certainly not what I would have chosen.

I'd be interested to know if previous posters' choice matches their most played.

what a stupid question, as if anyone would ever be put in that situation.

I have so much music and so many favourites I could never decide anything so ludicrous. My list of bands that I like listening to extend beyond the time I have to write here.

Nine Inch Nails - Something I can Never Have

because if i could only listen to one more song I'd probably kill myself, and it would have to be to this song.

And all these other lists and favourites and "if you were..." type threads haven't been supremely stupid?

I prefer the desert island discs method personally, but even 8 tracks isnt enough.

Having to listen to any one song for the rest of my life would drive me insane, no matter how much I liked the song. I'd rather listen to no music at all then hear the same thing over and over and over again.

Thank God, I was starting to think it was just me who found them banal and at the same time intensely irritating. Still, the music ones are quite useful if you're bored with all the music you already have. Which I am.

angie by the rolling stones. very depressing but brilliant and reminds me of my last summer at home (motorbikes, the beach, work, beer, festivals...)

Love that song, been listening to it loads the last few days as well actually. Pretty sad song, but great words and melody.

I don't think this thread is pretending to be anything other than banal.
It is primarily a time wasting thread.
If you can't be intensely irritating and fatuous when you're bored, when can you be?

If the song was playgin constantly, rather than just being the only song you have the option of listening to, bananaphone would be a prime choice.

Jimi Hendrix 'Voodoo Chile', bloody brilliant

That is a great song, awesome choice. I'd have to say the live version from the album 'As/ Is' of the song 'Clarity' by John Mayer, cause it is just ACE :)
