I think she had confirmed for the next series but only the first few episodes or something.

Also the space-station in The End of The World might have been called something different but as I recall, looked exactly the same.

As to the god dalek - fair enough him surviving the time war (how many times have all the survivors of the time war been destroyed? 3 times and counting) but it seems a bit far fetched that a single dalek could manage to rebuild the fleet etc. etc.

I also think it was kind of a waste for Eccleston to fuck-off after twelve episodes. That must make him the Lazenby of Dr. Who by a fucking mile.

If there's a Lazenby, it's Paul McGann.
So someone asked me "What is it you do?". I thought about it for a minute. Then I thought about it a little more. All the while I probably looked like I was staring in to space, struggling for an answer. And I was. There was only one response I could really give.

"I make sure the shit stays off the fan."

There isn't a Lazenby of Dr Who - both Paul McGann and Christopher Eccleston have been brilliant.

I think it's a shame that C.E. doesn't want to stay for another series, but as he has other commitments, it's fair enough.

And Billie is confirmed to be in every episode of the next series. Series 29 has also been confirmed, despite series 28 not yet being completed.

Interesting developments on the Billie front then cause the original story was some talent scout from Hollywood had picked her up and wanted to take her away to fame and fortune, hence she wasnt hanging around Cardiff any longer...

To be completely honest I'm quite glad C.E. has left, I never really connected with his Dr. Who at all, the Who Confidential episode after yesterday's show kinda supported my suspicions when he admitted that what you saw was what you got, he didnt put any thinking into the character or try to understand it in any depth (he claims it wasnt needed), I'd link that decision to his disjointed acting throughout the series

yeah, I was thinking that they wouldn't go to all the trouble of bringing him back to life just to leave him there. Also, they've hinted at an interesting back story for him.

ALL doctors regenerate in the same clothes...They just change them in the episode AFTER the regeneration....As for captain jack..methinks he's gone...

Oh...and Rose is only staying for some of the next season...she has said she's leaving...

I'd heard it had been confirmed she was there for all of the next season, and then was leaving after that. Captain Jack is going to be there some of the time...

Hopefully he does come back because I rather liked him as a companion.

Even though I\'ve tried to defend this new series, all I can say to that ending was \"WTF?\". I mean the Rose aspect, the clues were there (including on that Badwolf website), but still....

But on the plus side, I WAS RIGHT about him regenerating tonight,

Considering they film things like Christmas specials well in advance, his regeneration was no big suprise...

And as for the whole Rose/Bad wolf thing It appeared to me to be one of those highly entertaining temporal paradoxes of the pre destination stylee...Anyhoo

Cybermen??! WOOoOHOOO!

oh yeah, and I hear Rose is in all of next season, as is Captain Jack :D

Am looking forward to Tennant being in the role though. He was VERY good in Casanova.

The tardis brain thing had left behind bad wolf clues for rose, so she'd make the connection, know she was meant to go back for the doc and figure out to open up the tardis and connect with the brain thing - time vortex - all of space and time, thing.
