You watched Human Traffic by any chance Rufus? I think you and Moff would agree on Mr Andre :)

Me, I'd have to say all the arsey customers I've ever served. The ones who treat barstaff like servants. Who imply they'll be talking to the owner about you if you're not servile enough.

Also, whoever writes radio adverts. Why are they so much more annoying than TV ads?

Richard, the one from Richard and Judy (does he have a surname even?). I just hate the man.

The person who threw water over me in the Bop on Friday, I don't care if you didn't like what I was doing, just 'cause you couldn't pull, fucking wanker.

We're not all dossers who smoke ourselves retarded with pot and drink too much and yet still blag a 2.1, although yeah ok it does happen a bit, and errrr we do learn valuable argumentative skills and yeah... err.... actually we probably do deserve to die.

But your post looks like it was aimed at me, and I would defend philosophy over several other subjects, ie Soc Anth, Art Hist, Classics, it could be a worse subject, and in St Andrews its not bad, having said that you're taking on the students and not the subject. But the students aren't bad, it's when they use their subject on the sinner to give them greater moral superiority that is bollocks, most philosophy students though realise that morals are for the most part bollocks and would never try to takie the upper hand in debate purely because of their subject.

Sorry darling, I guess you were addressing some of the wankers that are appearing throughout the sinner bleating their "morality" stuff.

Anyway I've never felt like a philosophy student (although i have felt like having other students) I feel like a student tonight...

Any student who uses their subject in an arrogant way on the sinner or anywhere else for that matter sholuld be shot.

Students with the attitude 'My subject is way better than yours and all other subjects are crap.'

Your subject isn't 'better' than mine, and mine isn't 'better' than yours. They are just different, we are different, wouldn't it be a bring world if we were all the same ...

Oh god, I'm channeling my granny ... elbows off the table ... eat everything on your plate ... polishing silver is very important ...

Anyway, comparing different subjects. Very, very annoying.

The first two I don't care about, but polishing silver is important, it tarnishes so easily.

Such. A. Good. Thread!

Hmmm.... i think at the moment i'd go for "moral crusaders" who feel a need to impose their opinions on everyone else - see "Chugger Off" thread.

Because of course there is only one right and wrong way of thinking in the world...
