I do apologise about my complete lack of information in my post. I am 20 and a local girl who loves nothing better than a long walk along the beach. As an English student, yes i enjoy discussing the finer points of literature and also like writing poetry. Defo not the red gown tho. Prefer sitting in costa with a massive hot chocolate dripping with cream.

last time i checked i fitted the requirements of "nice" and "single" (and "guy"), although that is dependant on your viewpoint of "nice".
so if there is one, there must be more in town, DrAlex says he is too, so there are at least two. in a town the size of st andrews, id expect more than two nice, single guys.

what is this "nice guy" rubbish all about. If you sit in your room and never talk to anyone of course you are going to be a nice guy, you are never near anyone to be a bastard to them. In my experience being a genuinely nice guy and having no social skills are not the same thing.

That or complete misanthropes. What I was actually meaning by that is that most 'nice guys' tend not to to be the ones who put themselves out there deliberately to attract women. I figure that being a 'nice guy' when it comes to the whole dating thing means getting to know the person as a friend before you try and make anything happen. Thats not to say that if I make friends with a girl then I have some hidden agenda, I'd just rather mae sure that I really liked the person before I was confident enough to do anything about it.
