What have I done for you?

Postby theflirt on Wed Feb 22, 2006 11:55 am

What has someone done for you that has made you SO happy recently, like totally made your day/week?

I was about to cross the road and a guy started to do the same from the other side. We would have met in the middle but he let me go first. It made me realise that there are still nice people in this world!
I am happy for today!

Its a sad state of affairs when something like that makes your day.

I am always considerate to others as far as moving out of the way, holding open doors, appologising for being in someones way, smiling at randoms etc etc. (unless you catch me with a bad hangover)

Its 100% free and makes me feel happy too :)

Everyone should do it

Phonecall from my landlord saying "we're going to offer you the flat" was ace.

What made my week was the 1 in a 100 that said thanks for the work you do for Socs.

About an hour ago my supervisor agreed to give me a reference before I even finished asking. That just about made my day!

comming home to a hug from the other half, followed by dinner and a class of wine.

someone giving you a hand when all your things fall out of your bag all over the floor.

having someone taking recognition of something you have gone out of your way to do.

making someone smile that was feeling low.

It made my day because it was kind of random and a very nice thing to do, there a lot of people here that are just arrogant and I can't be doing with them anymore! Polite manners are becoming lost in this town, it is nice to see people that still have them/use them.
It also makes other people happy :D

You were looking beautiful, Bramble.

We still nearly tried to run you over as we left the union...

I was woken up by a ring at the door this morning, and it was a red rose from my boyfriend to wish me luck for my driving test :)

Hmm, I'm still waiting for someone to make me really happy this week. :P I guess hearing from my Dad telling me he bought a house in Brazil was pretty good, though, on reflection. :D
