This Thursday

Welcome to the RockSoc board, it gets worse here every day... talk about RockSoc, rock music, plain rocks or other silly irrelevant drivel. All are welcome: members & non-members, of the past, present & future.

This Thursday

Since there's no rock soc, what will we do? The default plan is to head for The Central, but something more interesting would be good. Personally, I think it's high time there was another party at Mike's (though I suspect his flatmates might disagree!)

Another badly planned pub crawl which results in one of us (preferably not me) stuck in the Central toilets for most of the evening?

:P

Hmm...me and mike were talking about a party at the weekend, but its a bit late to arrange one now - plus someone in fife park got kicked out for hosting a party, so we are a little less willing to break the rules at the moment knowing that the residence admin are being so harsh...however...I think pub crawl could work...

btw whats happening on saturday?

I don't get RockSoc emails :( I have no idea why but I just never get any.

H, you couldn't start forwarding the damn emails to me?

And I think we should have a Pub Crawl on Thursday - it should be planned well with a drinking plan no one will follow, people should turn up, there should be Jaig and no one should end up stuck in the Central toilets.

Oh, and people should buy me drinks, because if they don't, I'll be sober XD

Also, people should join me in yelling "WE ARE THE JIZZ OF ROCKSOC, RESISTANCE IS FUTILE" because I'm annoying like that :D

P.S. If you know the person and they haven't yet been evicted please ask them to e-mail me on ag56@st-and.ac.uk . I might be able to help them.

No, I admit it - I just keep forgetting I can't stay logged in from home and work simultaneously.

Shouldn't that be, "We are the Jez of Rocksoc?" Both me and Kev, at any rate, keep getting called Jez(z). (Although you and Gillian keeps coming out as "Gilly and Ellian" or "Gillette".)

"Gillette".)

ROFL, Gilette XD

"WE ARE THE JIZ OF ROCKSOC" came from Henry saying:

"Aha the cream of rocksoc (however you want to interpret that)..."

On the RockYeah boards...my mind decided to take it the dirty way (no surprises there)

To Andy:

It was Tony in 29 - he hosted a pancake party on pancake day - apparently someone (not him) put a bag over the fire alarm or something, and an RA came in - saw this, tony took responsibility for the party, and has a month to leave (or a week I cant remember)...

Drop an email to rocksoc@st-andrews.ac.uk and I'll sort it for you (chances are I'e misread the sign up sheet from the Freshers fair and have the wrong address for you.

Ah, H. Thanks.

Yes, breaching H&S regulations is obviously a different matter to throwing a party. (So, more parties at my house ;-) ) However, I wouldn't say taking responsibility for the party would have meant taking responsibility for the breach of H&S. Simply because the party occured when the breach of H&S was detected this does not imply that the breach of H&S was caused during the party and/or by the responsible person at the party. I will have a word with him but if its after his meeting with Miss Clifford then I doubt there is much I can help him with. If only he had come to see me sooner :(

Hmm - beerage. My plan was to stay in and be a good boy tonight but reading this makes me want to have a few light refreshments.

Right so people (as many as possible) meet at the central tonight at 8.30 (?) for a unofficial pubsoc rock crawl...or something along those lines...
