So just curious what everybody thinks should replace semi-chem, which just went out of business. We could probably use another clothing store, sandwich shop or maybe a cafe. Lets keep our fingers crossed for another health food store!!!!! To hell with the most pubs in scotland, let's just go for largest number of nutritional supplememt shops...

as much as i hate them, my guess is another starbucks. :P there's only one other starbucks in town for them to compete against after all. ;)

the town doesnt need any more clothes shops (i didnt know there were many anyway :S , if you need clothes, jump on a bus to dundee.
since market street doesnt have any charity shops on it i think it could do with one of them. :P

I would actually like a bookshop which sold the full range of university texts at competitive prices... a girl can dream.

why do so many people seem keen to get a marks and spencers in town? granted, the food they sell is far better than tesco's but marks and spencers could hardly be considered cheap or even reasonably priced. ive always thought they were one of the most of expensive places to get food (after Morrisons anyway, Safeways were cheaper).

there is a difference between reasonably priced and cheap. M&S food id expensive because it is of a greater quality. What you have to look at here is value for money - not just a cost for cost comparison.
