Feeling surprisingly indie, would love to hear:

James - Laid
Barenaked Ladies - One Week

Just if you have time ;-)

[hr]

Nobody worries about kids listening to thousands, literally thousands of songs about heartbreak, rejection, pain, misery and loss. Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?
If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the substrate.

Lame, but cooler than you.

Just a few more to mix it up...

Postby underworlddreams on Fri Oct 27, 2006 7:01 am

After hearing it the other day, Supernaut (the 1000 Homo DJs version...) That'll help on the industrial front. Oh, and Tool - Stinkfist. Awesome tune.

Oh, and if any Rocky Horror gets played, Sweet Transvestite.

Ghostbusters is a traditional one (there's a punk cover somewhere, too, I'm sure of it...)

Nick Cave too - either Red Right Hand (a good one for Hallowe'en) or The Ballad of Robert Moore And Betty Coltrane (just because.)

Dammit - wish I was Djing again!

On the note of ghostbusters, there is also a metal version out there in the ether...and obviously I will be rallying for that as an alternative to the punk one :P
