market street incident

Anyone know what happened on market street lastnight? it was around midnight; a car parked up; a person lying in the middle of the road, and some filth looking on.

I don't really like to bring this up, its obv a delicate subject but noone i know knows and i am, in essence, very curious...but also concerned for the young person involved naturlich.

i'm sure that if the police helped you in anyway, saved you from a murderer or something, you wouldn't refer to them as "filth" then. it disgusts me that you would talk that way about people who do, in general, an amazing job. maybe i'm just biased. my mother is a detective and i know how hard the job is. she worked on the holly and jessica thing and it really affected her. i'm sure it would anyone. your choice of words is, in this sense, extremely offensive.

Quite agreed. I'm not big fan of the word, but it's not alien to my ears.

'The Filth' is a throwaway, if fairly derogatory (canit schpell), term. I'm sure if Gringo had actually had any intention of making a substantial insult against the police force he'd have a far more interesting way of doing it.

We are not concerned in the slightest with the incident in Market Street, but it is absolutely appalling that in this day and age, people can still get away with insulting the police. Let's hang 'em.

If Sinners never answer a question, don't ask the question you're interested in getting an answer to.

You need to chill out. i'm sure your mums a great policeman, and ofcourse i'm not condoning crimes like the holly and jessica "thing", which is what your reply kind of makes it sound like. it was a throw-away remark and even though i do regard the fife-constabulary as largley inept, i do think they have a role to play.

i don't recall such support for them - the bacon - when those raisin/jail threats came out.

on a serious note, does anyone knnow if the person involved in the INCIDENT ON MARKET STREET is ok? i do hope so.
