Getting a Haircut

Postby Jack on Tue Feb 13, 2007 9:31 am

Where is a good place in St Andrews, or Dundee if need be, to get a haircut? I'm only looking to pay up to 12 pounds.

Do they still have that place in St Andrews where you get a haircut for a fiver and a free tot of whisky?

Go into the hairdresser and ask when they're next having training sessions and you'll get the cut for free and there's really nothing to be scared of. The trainee is under a watchful eye and they're generally at teh tail end of their training and would probably be charging you £30+ for their services in three weeks time anyway. Even for colouring they might only ask for a £10. it might take longer and you may have to wait for an appointment for two weeks but I've never had a bad experience and my bank account look sa bit healthier too.

Something tells me that for £12 Jack probably wasn't expecting much...

Next time post on the Advice board, by the way.

johnalan is good if you get the trainees to do it, but john himself is very rude. i'm not the only person to have commented on this, but if you can put up with him the trainees will cut your hair on weds or thurs for a fiver, and dye it for another £15.
