Is anyone elses webmail not working?? I keep on trying to login and it's telling me it's failed possibly due to me typing in my username or password wrong (which after about 10 attempts I'm sure I'm not!)

Works fine for me on Server A ...

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once.

Have you changed your password recently?

Use a mail client like Apple Mail, Entourage or Outlook. It saves all the hassle of having to log in to Webmail and you receive your emails almost instantly depending on how you set your preferences.

Or Evolution or Thunderbird.

These are also useful since you can easily save copies of emails on your machine, or manage messages better than having them all lumped into an inbox.

Yes, this is most likely the cause. Although the Webmail cache issue could be the problem

Try clearing your web cache. If this doesn't work contact ITS.

Dunno about webmail, but connection speed in general seems to be stupidly slow today!

Any mail client should be good, there are loads out there. Try a few and pick your favourite. I used to use Eudora 1.3.1 on the Mac Classic and I loved it!

Again, were they asked to change their password two weeks ago?

Agreed. I know a few people in the same situation, and it appears that they all had had emails about their passwords being insecure. It appears that IT services have acted on their threat and are knocking anyone who has not changed their password off the system. You will need to go to the IT helpdesk and reset your passwords in all probability (assuming that is the problem!).

Argh! Anyone having webmail issues today (Mail B)?

When I eventually get it to log in it's so slow that by the time it gets close to loading a new page it logs itself out.

This is driving me mad.

Mine (Mail B) is slow almost to the point of not working at the moment. Nice to know it's system-wide, not just my computer.

Webmail, webmail
rarely
does it fail
sweet tutors
do wassail
when you log in
to webmail
and learn that
you've failed
all because your webmail
though rarely,
has failed
and you're fucked
goodbye
Thought begets Heresy; Heresy begets retribution.
