I'm going for the 'man o' the hills' thing right now, and all I can say is that if you enjoy people laughing at you, or yelling 'DO YOU SPEAK *ENGLISH*?' at you perpetually, it's really not worth it. Well, in my case it will be worth it for I shall have a hen's nest in there. Fresh eggs, for free, every morning.

Good.

Yeah - I guess you don't have to worry either, since you're a raving fag and all.

I might just shave it down into a goatee and pretend to be Hugh Martin for a day.

I was going to offer a defence of the beard, so I wondered what evidence I could find to support it. I know! I thought, I'll find sexy bearded men...

I was going for the full neck stubble but buckled under pressure and shaved.

I feel like a tool.

Electric razor, for the win.

The worrying thing is that I own (and regularly use) one, but I still can't be bothered.

Thank-you for the advice young Bonnie, consider it borne in mind. This abomination will disappear when exams are done, leaving me once more the ladykiller. Yes.

I want to start shaving with a straight edge razor, and use whisky for cologne. Hrmm.

Then grow up to be this guy: Image

I think we should all sign an agreement to just not shave at all over the exam period, therefore we all suffer the same draw back and therefore no draw back cause they'll just have to learn to live with it. Only problem would be if women decide to go for the same agreement :S ew

Then again it would alleviate the annoying problem of the chick two rows in front distracting your exam concentration with her mini skirt.

I def agree with the straight edge, I have used one of these for the past two years, and it beats any other kind of manual razor hands down. I have never tried an electric razor, so I cannot compare it to the straight edge.

Whisky as cologne? Kinda difficult, as I would only ever consider using a blend (I would never condone wasting a decent single malt for such activities), however I do not think that I could bring myself to buy any blend!!

I was dismayed to find that sans ginger beard, my appearance was that of a 12 years old child. I realised that I had no choice but to allow the ridiculous ginger fuzz to make a comeback, or be forever ID'd for PG-13s etc.

I think the fact it is INCREDIBLY unpopular with the ladies should give you ten bonus points. My boyf gets as far as day three stubble before i start making a rumpus, but really, shave!!!!!! yuck :(

Ben, what 12 year old is your height?

Then again, you dress in 12 year old's clothes, you skinny bastard.

All you need to do is carry a 12 year old around with you at all times for comparison.

Problem solved.

I've not shaved in a week, and I can tell lots of other people haven't either. So, exam beards:

+ Cuts down on inconvenient shaving time

Great! But why stop at not shaving? Think how much more revision could be done if we all stopped showering and doing laundry as well!

I stopped folding my laundry several weeks ago. I have much more time now. Mind you, all that is clean laundry though.

Hmm. For me, this is the quintessential Nicholson look:

Hair in quality as well as quantity. Top stuff. More on top and less round the chin would be my advice - there's nothing wrong with looking young.
