Failed to prepare and prepared to fail....

Postby AuZ on Wed May 16, 2007 11:43 am

Had a few weeks to get ready for exams, but no. St Andrews being the most amazing city (as we all know), exam preparations didn't really go well.
Anybody else in the same boat ?

Just to buck the trend - i lost all motivation somewhere between the last exams and these ones. I went to the lectures, which helped, but otherwise i didn't really start revising until 2 days before my first exam and even then, i probably didn't revise as hard as i could have.

There goes my chance of a first...

I was doing fairly well (considering time constraints and everything) up until now but all desire to revise and/or do well has left me as of yesterday afternoon. I'm currently of the mind that my PS3022 exam (Research Methods and Statistics 2) can stick revision up its own arse (on the assumption that it has an arse).

Which is worrying, because last semester I actually made an effort for PS3021 and still got a bit of a rubbish grade.

I love seeing all the different departments revising - who were the guys with the bones in the library last week?

I am doing better with revision for some exams than for others. Yesterday's was bad, because of lack of revision. My last one is tomorrow, and I'm not too worried about it.

I have my reading list for next year already and will start acquiring books/photocopies the day after my last exam ... admittedly I have been focusing on that more than actually finishing second year :P. I do plan on doing a lot of work for honours though.

Glad to see I'm the only one who can't be bothered to revise stats for tomorrow. Just can't wait for it to be over!
