Just thought I would share with the sinner audience that folding that piece of paper to cover your name does not take away from the fact that the marker knows who you are. Along with the answer booklets they also get an attendance list with our names beside matriculation numbers. As usual, the St Andrews system is totally flawed.

Further, if it's your tutor, or your lecturer marks continuous assessment, they probably know your handwriting anyway.
Good God, I never did when I taught. But then, I generally didn't let my little darlings hand in stuff written in their own fair paws. So I wouldn't have had a clue.

In Soviet Russia, exam anonymises you.
Surely if it's a smaller number of people, like Honours Sustainable Development, it might become obvious after a while whose is whose even with the anonymity measures in place?

Well I went to get some assessed work back that I'd stupidly not written my name on and my lecturer said something along the lines of 'Oh its ok, I know your handwriting anyway.' Quite funny, you'd think being in the 'top 20 scientists likely to change the world' or whatever, he'd have better things to do! Hehe. I'm a 4/5th year physicists, which might explain things.

In every subject I've done in Arts (bar one in first year) it's been expressely forbidden to hand in any assessed work that isn't typed. How would a tutor recognise your handwriting?
