Not that I don't just love you lot, but the number of active Sinners seems to be at an all-time low. 67 people voted on the religion poll. That's not a lot, really. Isn't it just annoying that you can predict how threads are going to develop, and who'll comment and how? Grr.

Where did everybody go? Can we get them back? Should we force some bejants on here in FW?

It is the summer holidays, thats normally a lot quieter on here. I'm actually quite suprised by how quickly the religion thread has grown.

How many of the regular sinners are graduates? I know some are, and I'm betting that a lot more are than I know about. Soon it won't be a student site, but one for alumni only...

Okay, maybe. Perhaps advertising the accommodation board and the trading stuff board would help - they're always useful.

Actually I'm just looking more closely now - whatever happened to the Union board? It seems to be gone...

The union board went on a "temporary" hiatus some months/years ago and never returned, alas.

The Sinner does need better advertising though, in freshers week particularly. Posters around the place, etc. Facebook adverts early in the term may be of some use, too, although obviously that'd cost a bit of money.

That's because it's summer, we're all bored, and we like arguing with each other. (It certainly gives me more time to compose a reply than when I have the same discussions repeated every day over morning coffee).

I think the majority of the regulars probably are these days. St Andrews graduates don't leave, they just decay into the woodwork. A bit like Pirates of the Caribbean.

I think it's pretty good that we've a nice familiar camaraderie going on the Sinner. However, I think it'd be better if we attract buckets and buckets of Freshers. Perhaps it'd be possible to advertise it through the 'Wednesday Memos' emails?
