I hope every day that they find her severed head, just so that the charade can end.

"severed head"
"maddie Jokes"

Most people have lost hope of finding her, and thus get a little frustrated by constant media attention when there are many other shitty things happening. But you two are barely human.

Here's to people taking pleasure from your misfortune.

miss fortune.

Misfortune, dear. Misfortune. Unless, of course, you mean the niece of Lady Luck?

{HAHA} at your misfortune!

This is the sinner for christs sake, expect nothing but outrageous statements and hate.

As for the barely human aspect, wouldnt you hoping that other people pleasure in my Little Miss Fortune make you just as bad as you say I am?

Yes, yes it would.

Go down to the doctors and get yourself a giant dose of clue Tony.

They're never going to find her seeing as the parents made sure she was incinerated after they killed her to hide all evidence

Well, an article on the BBC News web site doesn't exactly amount to a media circus, but this wouldn't be the first time that the media in general and the BBC in particular has let itself be hoodwinked into forgetting the distinction between what is news, and what isn't. A child going missing is news; a suspect being named is news; the parents of the child travelling all over the show, setting up endless 'news conferences' and emotionally blackmailing 'celebrities' into a few empty gestures are not news. I think a picture of a possible person of interest based on a description given last May probably falls into the latter category, but I'd hardly expect a 'professional' journalist to be able to tell the difference.

That bloke's sketch was on the front of all the tabloids today - blown up to cover it. The headline (visually at least was) HE LOOKS EVIL HE MUST HAVE DONE IT LETS KILL HIM.

Honestly though. You couldn't make this stuff up.

One of the questions in the Criterion pub quiz last night was 'I can run, but never walk, Often a murmur, never talk, I have a bed but never sleep, I have a mouth but never eat. What am I?'

Someone shouts out...Madeleine McCann.

Priceless

Oh the moral outrage of someone that feels he needs to appear to care superjock? Do you walk about with one of those find maddie wrist bands? Did you never laugh at an OJ or Michael Jackson joke?

Quite frankly I find your over-reaction to a throw away comment to be distasteful.

Hear hear! One of the most nauseating trends of recent years is the growing number of people who seem to feel a compulsion to show the rest of us how much more they care and how much better people they are as a result. With chips on shoulders and hearts on sleeves the world is getting more annoying with each passing day.

The last straw with this case was way back in the summer... 'Find Maddie' reels on during the trailers at the cinema - and, yeah, I was seeing a kids film (Shrek) and thought that was inappropriate.

Couldn't give a toss if she was dead OR alive - and she can thank her parents for imbuing the nation with that attitude.

On a lighter note and in follow-up to the Centurion's 'priceless' moment - how much does a tapas meal cost in Praia de Luz?
