Dundee on a Tuesday??

I know that you can buy bands for Fat Sams from the Raisin on a Wednesday night, but does anyone know if you can do it on Tuesdays? Not necessarily Fat Sams, but Dundee in general, I feel the need to celebrate the end of exams.....

Wednesday is the big going out night in Dundee, which is why they do the Fat Sams bus. Not much going on on a Tuesday unless you go to the Union there.

How times change, it seems. My first year was all about Dundee on a Tuesday night. Wednesday lectures tended to be quite badly attended as a result...

Just one of those things that I never get around to doing.
I'm told Wednesday nights are the shizzle in Fat Sam's, even for those who aren't getting a bus from St Andrews. I don't think there's a way as easy as Wednesdays as there would be on Tuesdays to get there (I kinda don't trust public transport at the best of times), and I don't think you can buy bands for Tuesday nights in The Raisin - but I don't really know, I guess this would need confirming.

fat sams is good on a tuesday too...the impression i was under was that the reason they sell the bands on a wednesday is to get people into the club cos its not that busy.
there's a new club called liquid there too...which is supposed to be really good on a tuesday, its right next to fat sams.
if there's a few of you going it's not that expensive if u all chip in for a taxi

It used to be, in 2005/6, that they'd sell bands for the bus on a Tuesday in the Vic. I think they also did so on some other nights of the week, but we only ever went on a Tuesday. I heard that they stopped the bus in my 2nd year though, so interesting to hear that it's still going, even if on a different day.
