Farwall has never tried to 'join' to my knowledge. If he had then he would have been invited to come burn stuff with us.

Which is why i posted that it was sad that he said what he did.

Its very simple. We don't take it seriously. If you want to 'join' (whatever that means... i guess just being informed when we're holding a bonfire) then all you have to do is ask.

As i said, he doesn't know us, and we've never told anyone they couldn't come burn stuff with us. We actively encourage other people to come along. We just don't advertise particularly widely because you just don't advertise events that include blowing stuff up. If someone got hurt people could blame us. But since we just keep it informal (why 'joining' isnt really the right word) its up to the individual what they want to do.

So there you go. Farwall's comments are, as i said before, unfounded and petty. If anyone is guilty of being "oh look im so great" then consider he's trying to put us down when he doesn't know anything about us. Although i wouldn't say that his post came across like that, simply that of the two posts, his was more like that.

Anyhow, I really don't know what the hell people are talking about it for - we haven't done anything we could call a 'PyroSoc' event in almost a year now... But, for what it's worth, I say let us know who you are, and if you wish to burn things with us, we'll give you a call. We always need extra fuel for the fire...
