telling someone "silence, fool" is a little off especially when they made a fair point (as a joke by the looks of it).
If your pc couldn't run the demo then it is down to your pc, not the demo. There is no other explanation.
And being less agressively defensive wouldn't go amiss either. [/i]
Lighten up, pleeeeeeeeeaase!! Am i not allowed to have a bit of a banter with someone?? I was just winding him up, i'm sure he realised this. You know, where i come from, a bit of light banter is harmless fun. I wasn't being in the slightest bit aggresive as you seem to think pussycat, i used no swear words or threatening language.
Seeing as everyone is so interested in my problem, here goes:
I have an AMD Athlon 2700+ with a nvidia GeForce4 128Mb graphics card and 512Mb of RAM. That is, ample hardware to run this demo. Consulting the readme that accompanied the demo, the makers acknowledge that the game, as a demo is a bit buggy. When i say it fucked my comp i mean it restarted it, windows was a bit screwed, then another restart later it was fine. I ran the demo again, same problem. I'm not too bothered as I am not a huge fps fan anyway and don't play many games in general. Are fragger and pussycat now satisfied and can they happily move on with their lives??
If there was a multiplayer on resnet i might join but i would lose horribly as i suck at the UT series, but i don't care, it might be a laugh.
Jonny (will never attempt to have a bit of a banter on a wiredsoc thread due to inability of people to handle it, apologises to those who took offense blah blah blah)
