Nonsense Poetry

[Mr Mirkin]

Cats Cats everywhere
feline fanatics
balls of hare
demanding, cold
much better when heated
250 degrees
fan assisted.
Friends greeted
Dinner completed
[coughing, hairballs...]
Fluffy defeated.

I have an exam in 51 minutes, and I resort to writing nonsense to avoid revising. Feel free to do the same.

this was my favourite poem as a kid (i still love it!!) i'm sure there was more but i can't remember it.

the cat thing: bit disturbing!

i had a singing kettle tape with this on it as a song, i used to love that

Early this morning, late last night,
Two dead men rose up to fight.
Back to back they faced each other,

A stone-deaf sheriff heard the noise,
And came and killed those two dead boys.
The mute psychotic shrieked in fright,
With words of joy at this ghastly sight.

Now if you doubt this lie is true?
Ask the blind man; he saw it, too.

This tiger is sprawled so thin and so flat,
A question arises when galnces there at,
Is he asleep? To be perfectly frank,
He looks more as though he was creamed by a tank.
